FAQ 9. How can Murco products interface with external systems?

Murco gas detectors can activate external systems such as shut down, fans, sirens, warning lights, dial out systems, or connect to most BMS, SCADA, or other control systems using one or more outputs.

MGD

1 Level Controllers 1 Relay: on alarm 10 Amp at 230V/120V

2 Level Controllers 2 Relays: low and high alarm 10 Amp at 230V/120V

1 Fault Relay: 10 Amp at 230V/120V, available only for 2 Level / for 4 and 6 Sensor Controllers
Expander Box Provides one relay per sensor per alarm level, available only for 2 Level / 4 and 6 Sensor Controllers

IAM

IAM Sensor 2 Relays: on alarm 1 Amp at 24 Vac

IAM-C Panel 2 Relays: on alarm 10 Amp at 230V/120V

ST-IAM

ST-IAM 2 2 Relays: low and high alarm 1 Amp at 24 Vac 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA. Data: RS 485
All the above are present all the time and a mixture of outputs may be used for different purposes.
ST-MON 2 Relays: low and high alarm 1 Amp at 24 Vac RS 232 with TX, RX, DTR,CTS,DCD
RS 485 expansion port Parallel Port for Printer

MGS

MGS 1 Relay: on alarm 1 Amp at 24 Vac 0-5V, 0-10V, 1-5V, 2-10V, 4-20mA.
