CFC Gas Detection

Chlorofluorocarbon is an organic compound traditionally used in refrigerants and solvents. In a large number of countries the use of CFC’s are being phased out in accordance with the Montreal Protocol with a goal of 2020 and 2030 respectively. Although CFC’s are relatively non-toxic vapours can displace air in confined spaces and can cause asphyxiation.

Murco manufactures semiconductor CFC Gas Detection units as well as having specific experience in refrigerant gas detection and servicing the HVAC industry.

MGD Range- Murco Gas Detectors
Consists of up to 6 remote gas sensors connected to a central controller. The controller provides audible, visual, and relay alarms. Available in 1 or 2 levels of alarm.

MGS Range- Murco Gas Detectors
A fixed gas detector which can detect a wide range of different gases. The sensors can be used on a stand-alone basis or integrated into Controls or Building Management Systems (BMS).

IAM Range- Integrated Area Monitor
A stand alone IAM gas sensor provides visual, audible, and relay alarms. An optional 16-channel panel is available. These can be connected to build larger gas detection and monitoring systems.

ST-IAM Range-Sensor Transmitter IAM
A stand alone ST-IAM sensor provides continuous monitoring and universal outputs: 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, RS485, and 2 relays. Up to 99 ST-IAMs can be connected to an optional ST-MON panel
