EXD Remote Head IP66
The ATEX approved Exd remote sensor head is used in hazardous areas, where flammable gases, vapour fumes or dust are present.
This is an economical alternative to using an Exd enclosure.
The Exd remote sensor head is located in the Ex area and is connected by a
5 meter cable to the IP66 enclosure outside the hazardous area. (IP66 shown)
The sensor head is approved for Zone 1 and Zone 2. Ex d 11B+H2 T6.
Typical applications include areas classified as hazardous such as machinery rooms, boiler rooms, storage facilities, and refrigerated areas.
