Keeping check on refrigerant leaks with a fixed gas detection system.

Wednesday, November 30th, 2011

With proper maintenance refrigeration systems should be expected to last twenty years or more before needing to be replaced. However, that doesn’t mean a fixed gas detection system does not need to be in place. It can be easy to overlook a small discrepancy or to miss a loose fitting especially in a large commercial refrigeration facility. It need not be an oversight on the part of maintenance that causes a leak either. (more…)

Continuous monitoring with Fixed gas detection

Friday, June 24th, 2011

Fixed gas detection systems allow companies to monitor the concentration of gas in an area and to detect gas leaks. These systems can save operational costs, protect the environment and ensure the health and safety of personnel. There are two method of fixed gas detection. There are remote sensors and air sampling systems. Murco specializes in remote sensors due to the higher level of accuracy and the continuous monitoring associated with these systems. (more…)

Continuous Gas Monitoring Systems

Real-time gas detection using remote sensors – offering continuous monitoring – can offer a better solution than conventional air sampling – aspirated – sampling systems.

Continuous gas monitoring allows for every sampling point (gas leak sensor) to be monitored at all times therefore the concentration of gas shown on the display reflects the actual situation at that point – at any given moment.

The benefits of continuous Gas monitoring through fixed gas detector units are many;
